Parish Wildlife

A varied agricultural scene - various arable crops, cows, sheep and even deer, provide a good base for a wide variety of wildlife in the parish. Add to this the various small copses and woods, and the lack of human beings, and the mix is attractive.

A wide variety of birdlife, from robins to buzzards and the occasional Red Kite, blend in with foxes, rabbits, badgers to provide a rich backdrop to the parish. Curlews are regular visitors to parts of the parish.

Several pairs of Buzzards are resident in the parish. Although superficially similar to Kites, the tail of a buzzard doesn't have the distinctive "V", so differentiating them in flight is easy.
